This hotel and it's staff is trash. I cancelled my stay months in advance and these scammers still went ahead and charged my card a no show fee. And when I called they gave me a run a run saying there was no one available to assist me. I finally got through to someone after a few tries and they refunded my money. If you like over priced hotels with lackluster staff this is the place for you. If you don't stay away from this place.

Historic and characterful hotel in old town Northampton. Rooms clean and comfortable and cosily decorated. Easy walk to many restaurants, bars and attractions in old town. Restaurant serves good and well-portioned American staples (burgers, breakfast, etc) however there are more interesting choices within walking district. But if you just fancy staying in and eating in the hotel you'll also be fine and food is good.

The location is prime for hanging out in Northampton - but the place is otherwise no good. No staff to be found at front desk at multiple occasions and the room was filthy. Not even vacuumed and the balcony was decrepit.

I never stayed here but attended a wedding rehearsal dinner in a function room. 60 people situated around round tables. Mild Caesar salad w a parmesan crisp. My haddock was a generous portion, nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked. Huge Idaho potato served with a side of whipped butter, baked summer squash and Brussels sprouts. Large slice of decadent chocolate cake w a side of whipped cream and sliced strawberries. It was all very good.

Beautiful& charming. Location is in the heart of town. Rooms are spacious. Hotel has free parking which was great, because everywhere you have to pay for parking in the town.

Loved the hotel. Loved our suite. Loved the tavern. The actual checking in and lack of bell hop service was a definate issue. The checkin desk seemed to care less about the lack of assistance and we weren't the only ones upset by the poor service. Very sad, because everything else was wonderful.
